How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your account and all associated data directly within the BondGuard app by following these steps:

  1. Open BondGuard on your device
  2. Go to Settings (bottom navigation bar)
  3. Scroll down and tap Delete Account
  4. Confirm the deletion when prompted

What Data Is Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:

  • Your account profile (email, display name)
  • All property condition reports
  • All room entries, condition ratings, and notes
  • All maintenance issue logs
  • All photos and videos stored in Firebase Cloud Storage
  • All generated evidence packages and PDF exports
  • Subscription status (your app store subscription must be cancelled separately)

Important: Cancel Your Subscription First

Deleting your BondGuard account does not automatically cancel your App Store or Google Play subscription. To avoid continued billing, cancel your subscription through your device's app store settings before deleting your account.

Data Retention

Account deletion is processed immediately. All associated data is permanently removed within 30 days. There is no recovery period — once deleted, your data cannot be restored.

Export Your Data First

Before deleting your account, we recommend exporting your condition reports as PDF files. In the app, open any report and use the share/export option to save a copy to your device.

Contact Us

If you are unable to access the app and need your data deleted, contact us at support@bondguard.app with the email address associated with your account and we will delete your data within 7 business days.
